Bali Ubud Kintamani tour is one of our highlight tour program . Today we had such a great day with Claudia & David from Ireland . Wonderful Bali full day trip to the best sightseeing route toward Ubud and Kintamani . Such a great whole day trip indeed .

Bali Ubud Kintamani Tour during our plan were start at 8 : 30 . We pick them up from The Villas , a luxurious accommodation in Seminyak . We drive toward Batubulan village . The first stop we made there , watching a traditional Balinese dance show . Barong and Kris dance is Balinese theatrical dance accompany with Balinese Gamelan . The dance narrated the story of Mahabharata evic story combine with local Balinese evic . Story of never ending fight of Good and evil . Barong is a lionship creature representing God form who fight with Rangda . Long hair and scary face is a form of Rangda as a quin of evil . The dance show were last for one hour duration with the entrance ticket 100.000 / person .

Ubud Monkey Forest

Our second stop during our Bali Ubud Kintamani Tour is at Monkey Forest . We had about 40 minutes walking around the forest , seeing they monkeys in their natural habital . Ubud Monkey Forest is a small conservation forest as a habitat of 700 monkeys . Friendly monkeys and get use to the people already . Sometimes jump on our shoulders for banana prize .

Some tips while we are there is

Avoid the eyes contact
Naver touch the monkeys
Don’t bring the food or mineral water on your hand
And lastly purchase the ticket .
If monkeys jump on you , don’t be panic .They will not harm you unless they offended .

Kintamani Village

We arrive at Kintamani Village around noon . The weather were perfect , clear and magnificent clean sky . We are lucky enough to see the amazing view of an active volcano and Lake Batur . Usually during the raining season its hard to get a best view of the crater . Kintamani village is a village located in the southern rim of the crater . The village is one of the best tourist destination for day trip , especially during the day time . A stop over area for lunch with great view of the crater . Most of the restaurant are serving Indonesian food and also magnificent view overlook the crater view . It was amazing stop indeed .

After Lunch we drive back to the south and made some stop at Coffee Farm for great coffee break stop and also visiting one of the ancient Temple , Sebatu Gunung Kawi Holly spring . Great stop at one of the villager farm for coffee testing and see various kind of plantation such as herbs , coffee threes , Cacao and some tropical fruits . Here we served by the owner to tray any kind of coffee and also organic tea product . Its a beautiful stop in very relaxing place and atmosphere .

Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple

Our last stop during our Bali Ubud Kintamani Tour program is visiting Sebatu Temple . An ancient temple build beside the spring water . The temple is a place where we worship God Wisnu , a God of protector also known as Water’s Lord . Outside the temple in the middle yard area there are two pool with artificial showers . This pool is a place where we do a purification ritual , clean our body and soul from all the bad influence . Inside the main temples area there are few shrines for God manifestation . The main shrine in the middle of north facing to the south is dedicated to Lord Wisnu .

Entering the temple area will bring you a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere . In the outer yard , there are big hall building and beside that building is big pool with big gazebo in the middle of the pool . The pool a big numbers of fresh water fish and some of the with amazing big size .

We had an amazing day and after the last stop we drive back to the Hotel pass through Tegallalang Rice terrace . We didn’t stop but we could see the terrace while we are driving through . It was amazing journey and love to share this experience on my blog with some great pictures in each sites .
