Not other part of Bali island , its only in Paglipuran village . Respect the woman as we respect our mother , the person who give birth to us .
Panglipuran village is quite popular village among the tourists in Bali Island , especially for the local visitors . Geographically this village is located in Bangli region , about 30 minutes from Kintamani highland . If drive from south Bali area , it will take around two hours drive to reach Panglipuran village .
Panglipuran village also known as one of the ancient village in Bali island . The village that strictly apply their own way how to live based on Balinese Hindu Concept . The concept of how maintain harmonious relationship of being a human . Human and God , human and environment and human and human . This concept are strictly influence their daily life . From how they build their house , set up the village as a home living and how they living together in the community .

The head of the village were explain the reason Panglipuran village made this strict rules which is to maintain the harmonious relationship between human and human . Rules to protect and respect the woman .
What happen if one of the man get married again while his wife still alive ? Is he will be in a real jail ?
The village community provide one area called KARANG MEMADU . This area about 9000 square meters land which is provided to whom who break the rules . The villagers will build small temporary house for them to live away from the community . Also will not allowed to go to the temple in the village area , join any village even . They are consider pollute their village because of their own deeds . They will exiled from any community activity for a whole of their life . Indeed will be very embarrassing to whom who don’t respect the rules .
Isn’t very cool ? This village also awarded as one of the third cleanest village in the world after Geithoorn village in Holland and Mawlynong village in India in early 2016 .
